Guided journeys through Kylemore Abbey's heritage landscapes and woodland paths
Kylemore Abbey Heritage Walking Experience
We guide groups through the Victorian mansion's fascinating 160-year history—from its 1868 origins as a private residence to its transformation into a working Benedictine convent. Each walk covers 2.5 kilometres through the main estate, with stops at the walled garden, lakeside terraces, and restored abbey buildings. Groups of up to 12 people enjoy 90-minute tours led by guides with deep knowledge of Irish architectural history.
